What I love most about photography is the way it changes the way I look at the world, even when I don't have a camera in my hands. Photography allows me to find beauty in obvious places, like the petals of a flower or a child's smile. Exposing unexpected beauty in foreboding storm clouds, decaying leaves or other less obvious spots is extremely rewarding, as well. Photography brings joy to my everyday moments. I hope to share that joy and beauty with you.

While nature photography was my first love, I'm enjoying exploring other subjects, including people. I believe that my eye for detail in nature and architecture translates to a unique approach to photographing people. Working with different subjects challenges me and improves all aspects of my photography.
